Purchase Administrator

Graham Smith UK Ltd is a quick responding, customer focused Materials Supplier, based in Brinkworth, from where we manufacture and distribute a vast range of products to Network Installation Engineers both in the UK and around the world.
We have grown rapidly by consistently out performing our competitors in the Fixed and Mobile Telecoms Market and are now recruiting staff to take us to the next level.

You will be working to progress & negotiate to get the best buy—suitable quality at minimum cost to the company & to make sure our suppliers are delivering against our expectations
Good negotiating and executing skills are required.
You will be involved with sourcing from suppliers and maintain good relationships with them.
We are looking for you to secure optimal supplier performance & when time allows we would like you to locate new and better material suppliers to try & continually reduce total cost of purchases where required.
You will be working in a team to keep the companies acquisition costs at the minimum & work to a positive outcome.
What you'll need to succeed you will have some previous Purchase experience, you will be organised with strong attention to detail to succeed in this role, you will need be conversant with using Microsoft outlook, excel & Openda but training would be provided on Openda & other in house systems & processes if required.
Required hours of work are Monday – Thursday 9am - 17:30 & Friday 9am - 17:00
